The Dances of Spain, is a Classical Spanish and Flamenco performing group, dedicated to the art and tradition of the dances of Southern Spain. The troupe is based out of Kirkland Wa. and consists of beginning, intermediate and advance level flamenco dancers, as well as semi-professionals. While some of the performers have less than a year of Flamenco dance instruction, others have been studying Flamenco dance for 10 years or more. These dancers enjoy sharing their passion for Spanish dance, performing through-out the Puget Sound area at public/private events, including the Northwest Folklife Festival & International Dance Festivals.
