I'm a second grade teacher and I caught the Lego bug from my students! They kept telling me how fun it was to build with Legos so about three years ago I bought myself the Millenium Falcon set for Christmas, built it, loved building and got totally hooked!
I started collecting Star Wars Lego sets and binge building :) I have built quite a few of the modular buildings. Last summer I built a lot of Harry Potter sets. I have made minor modifications if I see little things I would like to add. I've created a few scenes with pieces I have like a Lego camping trip or a day at the park. I have ambitions to build my own Moss Eisley Cantina and Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen's house on Tatoine. I recently became involved in SeaLUG and this is my first con.
I appreciate the engineering and creativity that goes into the sets. I love the open-endednes of being able to use the same piece for many different purposes, and the potential for building just about anything. I love Lego!
