Preaching old blues from the sixties and seventies, the Yada Yada Blues Band was formed as a side project of touring Seattle musicians. Their repertoire has a big collar, zoot suit strut to it and dips in the well of Freddie King's Leon Russell days.
The band had a chance to back up Motown recording artist Dennis Coffey in 2011 and absorbed a little funk into their set. They avoid typical covers and focus on deeper cuts of artists lesser known to today's listener.
